2012 IMG Bi-monthly Meetings

The Industry Measurement Group (IMG) was formed in 1999 by individuals from four companies - Crestar, Gulf, Petro-Canada and Gulf Midstream / Kenonic Controls. The group gathered to discuss common flow measurement issues they were experiencing and quickly realized that similar meetings might be beneficial to other measurement personnel in other companies. The response was positive and membership has grown to include producers, vendors and government agencies.
As a member of the natural gas measurement industry in Calgary, Quorum participates in IMG to help facilitate knowledge sharing in the field of enterprise flow measurement. Quorum has been actively engaged in the development of solutions for the gas measurement industry since 2000.
Quorum PGAS is a software solution that addresses both gas and liquids flow measurement issues.
Today, IMG is a part of a larger organization called the Canadian Institute of Hydrocarbon Measurement. The Canadian Institute also manages the annual Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement in Calgary.
