What is PASH?The Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston is a Charter member of the twenty-four societies that comprise the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS). Also, PASH is one of the largest individual societies of COPAS. It is through COPAS that the petroleum industry is able to discuss problems, find solutions, receive oil and gas accounting / auditing training and education, as well as develop leadership throughout this industry.
Basics of Gas Plant AccountingQuorum will be presenting at the PASH Education Day over the basics of Gas Plant Accounting. In this presentation, we will go through the basic concepts of natural gas production, gathering and processing. Some of these concepts will include lease and field operations, gas gathering systems and product dispositions. Examples of both non-gas and gas allocation will help attendees take the end result of actual disposition volume and allocate it back to the sources.
