Paul Weidman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Paul Weidman is a founder of Quorum. With over 25 years of systems building and consulting experience, Mr. Weidman brings extensive expertise of building and directing a practice with him. Before founding Quorum, Mr. Weidman served as Associate Partner at Andersen Consulting, where he built and ran the Energy Solutions practice, a products-focused group in the energy sector. Mr. Weidman has also worked in a leadership role at PricewaterhouseCoopers and other industry companies.
Mr. Weidman is a graduate of TCU, with degrees in Philosophy and Economics.
R. Scott Leeds, President
Scott Leeds is a founder of Quorum. Mr. Leeds was previously a software product manager for Andersen Consulting, providing product direction and client services leadership around midstream energy industry offerings. Mr. Leeds began his career with Texaco, Inc. in the Natural Gas Plants & Liquid - Comptrollers department, where he was involved in numerous major process improvement projects.
Mr. Leeds holds a BSBA in Accounting from The University of Tulsa.
Perry Turbes, Chief Commercial Officer
Perry Turbes is responsible for leading and managing all marketing, sales and pre-implementation consulting activities for Quorum. Mr. Turbes has filled a variety of roles within Quorum throughout the full product development and Client delivery life cycles. Before joining Quorum, Mr. Turbes was a part of the natural gas plant accounting group at Duke Energy Field Services (now DCP Midstream).
Mr. Turbes holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado.
Chip Nemesi, Chief Operating Officer
Chip Nemesi has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Mr. Nemesi has held a variety of domestic and international executive positions with IBM, Novell and BMC Software. At IBM, he eventually held the position of General Manager of the Petroleum and Process Solutions Group. Mr. Nemesi then joined BMC Software, where he built and ran their Global Professional Services organization. Mr. Nemesi joined Quorum in 2009, and as COO, he has responsibility for Solutions Delivery, Product Development, Product Support and Product Management.
Mr. Nemesi is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Marketing.
Bruce Wartell, Chief Technology Officer
Bruce Wartell is a founder of Quorum. Early in his career, Mr. Wartell worked for Advanced Micro Devices as a circuit design engineer. From 1991 through 1998, Mr. Wartell held various positions at Andersen Consulting, from staff consultant to Senior Technology Manager. While at Andersen, Mr. Wartell served in a variety of leadership roles for numerous projects and organizations, while maintaining a technology focus in the area of business systems architecture. Mr. Wartell also served as the lead technical manager for an Energy products group that had 4 significant product offerings, 12 ongoing clients, and generated revenues in excess of $10 million in his final year with Andersen. His primary responsibility is in providing the technology vision and direction for the company's application products.
Mr. Wartell holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Eric Hazeldine, Vice President - Quorum Canada
Eric Hazeldine is responsible for the operation of
Quorum’s Canadian office. Mr. Hazeldine has held a variety of roles within Quorum, including leadership roles in product development and Client delivery. His deep experience in the Upstream and Midstream oil and gas industry comes from a number of software implementation projects, including measurement, production, gathering, processing, revenue, and core financial applications. Mr. Hazeldine was previously a process engineer with Fluor.
Mr. Hazeldine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
