R. Scott Leeds, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

 
Scott Leeds is a founder and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quorum. He has been working in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years. Mr. Leeds began his career with Texaco, Inc. in the Natural Gas Plants & Liquid - Comptrollers department, where he was involved in numerous major process improvement projects. Before founding Quorum, Mr. Leeds worked in the Energy Solutions group at Andersen Consulting as a software product manager, providing product direction and client services leadership around midstream energy industry offerings.
 
Mr. Leeds holds a BSBA in Accounting from The University of Tulsa.
 
 

Perry Turbes, President & Chief Operating Officer

 
Perry Turbes is a 13-year Quorum veteran and former Chief Commercial Officer of Quorum. Throughout his over 15 years in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Turbes’ expertise has focused on the business processes of companies operating in the upstream, midstream and pipeline sectors of the market. Before joining Quorum, Mr. Turbes worked in the natural gas plant accounting group at Duke Energy Field Services (now DCP Midstream). While with Quorum, he has filled a variety of roles throughout the full product development and Client delivery life cycles, including Practice Area leader for the Midstream Energy solutions group.
 
Mr. Turbes holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado.
  
    

Bruce Wartell, Chief Technology Officer

 
Bruce Wartell is a founder of Quorum. Early in his career, Mr. Wartell worked for Advanced Micro Devices as a circuit design engineer. From 1991 through 1998, Mr. Wartell held various positions at Andersen Consulting, from staff consultant to Senior Technology Manager. While at Andersen, Mr. Wartell served in a variety of leadership roles for numerous projects and organizations, while maintaining a technology focus in the area of business systems architecture. Mr. Wartell also served as the lead technical manager for an Energy products group that had 4 significant product offerings, 12 ongoing clients, and generated revenues in excess of $10 million in his final year with Andersen. His primary responsibility is in providing the technology vision and direction for the company's application products.
 
Mr. Wartell holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
    
 

Rick Piacenti, Chief Administrative Officer 

 
Rick Piacenti is a 30 year oil and gas industry veteran with deep expertise in financial and administrative operations. In his prior experiences, Mr. Piacenti has held several executive management positions, such as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mission Resources, Inc. as well as Vice President and Controller for both El Paso Production Company, Inc. and Cornerstone Natural Gas, Inc. Most recently, Mr. Piacenti was a founding partner of Milagro Exploration, LLC where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
 
Mr. Piacenti holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University and is both a certified public accountant and certified management accountant.
          
 

Michael Hart, Executive Vice President 

Michael Hart has over 30 years of experience with the oil and gas industry.  Mr. Hart started his career working with Gulf Oil in the joint interest billing, revenue, finance, and field operations departments.  After working for Paradigm Technologies as an Excalibur implementation consultant and Regional Manager, Mr. Hart was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM serving the energy and resources industries for 22 years. Mr. Hart’s expertise is in the implementation of large ERP systems, process improvement projects, and software development.

Mr. Hart holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tarleton State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.



Eric Hazeldine, Executive Vice President - Quorum Canada

 
Eric Hazeldine is responsible for the operation of Quorum’s Canadian office. Mr. Hazeldine has held a variety of roles within Quorum, including leadership roles in product development and Client delivery. His deep experience in the Upstream and Midstream oil and gas industry comes from a number of software implementation projects, including measurement, production, gathering, processing, revenue, and core financial applications. Mr. Hazeldine was previously a process engineer with Fluor.
 
Mr. Hazeldine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
            
 

Michael Lewis, Chief of Staff

 
Michael Lewis has 15 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Lewis has held a variety of product leadership and Client support roles within Quorum. Before joining Quorum, he spent over 10 years with Accenture handling Client delivery in numerous technical lead and project management roles.
 
Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
