Paul Weidman
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Paul Weidman is a founder of Quorum. With over 25 years of systems building and consulting experience, Mr. Weidman brings extensive expertise of building and directing a practice with him. Before founding Quorum, Mr. Weidman served as Associate Partner at Andersen Consulting, where he built and ran the Energy Solutions practice, a products-focused group in the energy sector. Mr. Weidman has also worked in a leadership role at PriceWaterhouse and other industry companies.
Mr. Weidman is a graduate of TCU, with degrees in Philosophy and Economics.
R. Scott Leeds
President and Chief Operating Officer
Scott Leeds is a founder of Quorum. Mr. Leeds was previously a software product manager for Andersen Consulting, providing product direction and client services leadership around midstream energy industry offerings. Mr. Leeds began his career with Texaco, Inc. in the Natural Gas Plants & Liquid - Comptrollers department, where he was involved in numerous major process improvement projects.
Mr. Leeds holds a BSBA in Accounting from The University of Tulsa.
Gary Edmondson
Executive Vice President
Gary Edmondson is a founder of Quorum. Mr. Edmondson has over 25 years of work experience in the Upstream and Midstream energy industry in various IT roles including project management and administrative management. In his career, Mr. Edmondson participated in major projects involving the planning and development of mission critical software products for the Upstream and Midstream oil and gas industry, including core financial applications as well as operational management systems such as production, revenue, measurement, land/lease and gas processing applications.
Mr. Edmondson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Management Sciences from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Bruce Wartell
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Wartell is a founder of the company. Early in his career, Mr. Wartell worked for Advanced Micro Devices as a circuit design engineer. From 1991 through 1998, Mr. Wartell held various positions at Andersen Consulting from staff consultant to Senior Technology Manager. While at Andersen, Mr. Wartell served in a variety of leadership roles for numerous projects and organizations while maintaining a technology focus in the area of business systems architecture. Mr. Wartell also served as the lead technical manager for an Energy products group that had 4 significant product offerings, 12 ongoing clients, and generated revenues in excess of $10 million in his final year with Andersen. His primary responsibility is in providing the technology vision and direction for the company's application products.
Mr. Wartell holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Gary O’Dwyer
Executive Vice President
Mr. O'Dwyer joined Quorum after a 23-year career in technology with Chevron, a major international oil company. Mr. O'Dwyer held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in Calgary, Canada and Houston, Texas in the areas of software development and deployment. In addition to bringing strong petroleum company expertise to Quorum, Mr. O'Dwyer also specializes in database design. Mr. O'Dwyer has a proven track record of providing business solutions in a variety of application areas using several leading edge technologies. Many of these solutions received awards within Chevron and some have been recognized by Microsoft, Computerworld, and the Smithsonian Institute. Mr. O'Dwyer has a strong focus on delivering value to clients, an integrated perspective of business, technology and results, as well as a commitment to building a strong and talented team.
Mr. O'Dwyer graduated from the University of Calgary in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a minor in Psychology.
Scott Williamson
Vice President, Business Development
Scott Williamson is a seasoned professional with more than 19 years of experience in the consulting and software industries. As the Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Williamson is responsible for leading and managing marketing, strategic channel development and international business development activities for Quorum. Before joining Quorum, Scott was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Iconixx, a sales incentive systems integration firm. Prior to Iconixx, Scott was a co-founder and Vice President of Align Solutions/Luminant, a worldwide systems integration firm focused on variety of industries including Energy, Telecommunications and Financial Services. Scott started his career as a technical architect and project manager working at Andersen Consulting and BSG, Inc.
Mr. Williamson holds a BBA in MIS from the University of Houston.
Perry Turbes
Vice President, Solutions Sales
Perry Turbes is responsible for leading and managing all sales and pre-implementation consulting activities for Quorum. Perry has filled a variety of roles within Quorum throughout the full product development and Client delivery life cycles. Before joining Quorum, Perry was a part of the natural gas plant accounting group at Duke Energy Field Services (now DCP Midstream).
Mr. Turbes holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado.
