R. Scott Leeds, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
R. Scott Leeds, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Scott Leeds is a founder and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quorum. He has been working in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years. Mr. Leeds began his career with Texaco, Inc. in the Natural Gas Plants & Liquid - Comptrollers department, where he was involved in numerous major process improvement projects. Before founding Quorum, Mr. Leeds worked in the Energy Solutions group at Andersen Consulting as a software product manager, providing product direction and client services leadership around midstream energy industry offerings.
Mr. Leeds holds a BSBA in Accounting from The University of Tulsa.
Paul Weidman
Paul Weidman was the founding Chairman of Quorum. Mr. Weidman has over 25 years of systems building and consulting experience. Before founding Quorum, Mr. Weidman served as Associate Partner at Andersen Consulting. While at Anderson, he built and ran the Energy Solutions practice, a products-focused group in the energy sector. Mr. Weidman also worked in a leadership role at PricewaterhouseCoopers and other industry companies.
Mr. Weidman is a graduate of TCU, with degrees in Philosophy and Economics.
Charles Rossotti
Charles Rossotti is a Senior Advisor with The Carlyle Group focusing primarily on investments in the fields of information technology and business services.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Rossotti served from 1997 to 2002 as Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, the federal agency that serves 175 million taxpayers and employs 100,000 people. As a result of his leadership, the public's rating of the IRS increased greatly and relationships of trust with Congress, tax professionals and business groups were restored, and the agency's effectiveness turned around. In 1970, Mr. Rossotti co-founded American Management Systems, Inc. and until 1997 served at various times as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. AMS grew through his tenure, becoming a major international business systems consulting and systems integration firm with revenues of more than $1 billion. AMS clients include Fortune 500 companies and federal, state and local government agencies in North America and Europe. In 1979, AMS was one of the first technology services firms to go public.
Mr. Rossotti earned his A.B. in economics, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University and his M.B.A., with high distinction, from Harvard Business School. In 1970, he received the Distinguished Civilian Service Medal from the Department of Defense. In 2002, he received the Alexander Hamilton Medal from the Department of Treasury. In 2003, he received an Alumni Achievement Award from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Rossotti is on the Board of Directors of Carlyle portfolio companies: Apollo Global, Booz Allen Hamilton and Wall Street Institute. In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bank of America Corporation and AES Corporation, a publicly-owned global electric power company.
In addition to his business activities, Mr. Rossotti serves on the Boards of Capital Partners for Education and the Comptroller General’s Advisory Committee of the Government Accountability Office (GAO). In 2005, he served as a member of President Bush’s advisory panel on reform of the income tax.
Mr. Rossotti is the author of "Many Unhappy Returns" (Harvard Business School Press 2005), a book about his experience turning around the IRS.

Steve Bailey
Steve Bailey is a Managing Director with The Carlyle Group primarily focused on small and middle market buyout and growth capital investment opportunities in software, systems and business services sectors.
Prior to joining Carlyle in 2005, Mr. Bailey served as Vice President and head of Corporate Development at Dell. In these positions, Mr. Bailey was responsible for the company's strategic investment, mergers and acquisitions and other business partner relationship activity. Mr. Bailey was actively involved in Dell's investments in Altiris (acquired by Symantec), Blackboard (Nasdaq: BBBB), Entercept (acquired by McAfee), Giganet (acquired by Emulex), OSA (acquired by Avocent), Pentasafe (acquired by NetIQ), SiteSmith (acquired by Metromedia Fiber), Topspin (acquired by Cisco) and webMethods (acquired by Software AG). Mr. Bailey also served as Vice President of Finance in the Americas Business Group at Dell. In this role, he managed strategic and financial planning, accounting, reporting and business controls for Dell's largest region.
Mr. Bailey previously was a Principal with ABS Capital Partners, a private equity firm, and he held positions in 3Com's Business Development Group and in the investment banking division of Alex. Brown.
Mr. Bailey is a graduate of Harvard College and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Pierre Lapeyre, Jr.
Mr. Lapeyre is a Founder and Senior Managing Director of Riverstone Holdings.
Prior to founding Riverstone, Mr. Lapeyre was a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs in its Global Energy & Power Group. Mr. Lapeyre joined Goldman Sachs in 1986 and spent his 14-year investment banking career focused on energy and power, particularly the midstream/pipeline and oil service sectors. Mr. Lapeyre's responsibilities included client coverage and leading the execution of a wide variety of M&A, IPO, strategic advisory and capital markets financings for clients across all sectors of the industry.
While at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Lapeyre served as sector captain for the midstream/pipeline and oil services segments, led the group's coverage of Asian energy companies and was extensively involved in the origination and execution of energy private equity investments on behalf of the firm. Mr. Lapeyre was responsible for managing Goldman Sachs' leading franchise in Master Limited Partnerships. He was also asked to lead the group's agency and principal investment effort in energy/power technology.
At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Lapeyre had relationship and deal execution responsibilities for a broad range of energy clients, including Amerada Hess, Anadarko Petroleum, Cross Timbers, Gulf Canada, Kinder Morgan, Koch Industries, Kuwait Petroleum, PDVSA, Phillips, Santa Fe International, Schlumberger, Transocean SedcoForex, Unocal and Western Gas Resources, among others.
Mr. Lapeyre received his B.S. in finance/economics from the University of Kentucky and his M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Lapeyre also serves on the Boards of Directors of Legend, Titan Specialties, Dynamic Industries, Titan Operating, Three Rivers, Enduro and Dynamic Offshore.

Mr. Alexander is a Managing Director of Riverstone Holdings.
For nearly 25 years, Mr. Alexander served in various positions with subsidiaries and affiliates of BP plc, one of the world’s largest energy firms. From June 2004 until December 2005, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Innovene, BP’s $20bn olefins and derivatives subsidiary. From 2001 until June 2004, he served as Chief Executive Officer of BP’s Gas, Power and Renewables and Solar segment and was a member of the BP group executive committee. Prior to that, Mr. Alexander served as a Group Vice President in BP’s Exploration and Production segment and BP’s Refinery and Marketing segment. He held responsibilities for various regions of the world, including North America, Russia, the Caspian, Africa and Latin America. Prior to these positions, Mr. Alexander held various positions in the upstream, downstream and finance groups of BP.
Mr. Alexander serves on the Boards of Directors of AES Solar, Bottle Rock, Coastal Carolina, Dynamic Industries, Emerald, Enviva, ILX, Green Earth Fuels, Newberry, ThermaSource and Vantage. He is also a Director of Stein Mart Corporation and previously served on the board of Foster Wheeler and Anglo-American plc. He graduated with an M.S. in nuclear engineering from Brooklyn Polytech (now NYU Polytechnic) and holds an M.S. in management science from Stanford University. He is currently Chairman of the Board of NYU Polytechnic.
