Significant New College Graduate and Industry Veteran Hiring in 2003
Houston, Texas – December 9th, 2003. In response to the significant growth by the company in 2003, along with commitments for 2004, Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. (Quorum) recently concluded its second college recruiting campaign for the year. Quorum was successful in hiring three classes of top-rated college graduates to accomodate this growth. Quorum invests in a proven process of college recruitment and new hire training initiatives while also continuing to supplement its staff through ongoing recruitment of industry experienced veterans.
Quorum's recruiting efforts centered on the University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University and Rice University. Quorum hires top-ranked engineering and business school graduates who have proven track records in academics, relevant work history, and extra-curricular leadership. This year, the company received over 600 applications as part of its college recruiting program.
Over one half of Quorum’s existing staff entered the company through this successful program. After going through a rigorous selection process that involves a series of personal interviews and office visits, new hires complete an in depth program of training in project management, project lifecycles, Quorum's technical architecture standards and related technical tools, Quorum's own Project Management Methodology, and industry overviews.
