			<description> Houston, Texas - September 8th, 2004. OXY, Inc., a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY), has licensed and implemented Quorum Business Solutions' Division Order software product. OXY is already a significant user of Quorum Energy Software Suite products including Quorum TIPS, Quorum Land, Quorum Imbalance and Quorum Query &amp; Reporting. Quorum completed implementation of the Division Order software in the second quarter of 2004.    OXY acquired a crude oil gathering system asset from ExxonMobil and called for additions to its infrastructure to support new business processes, including division order functions associated with the operation of that pipeline. While OXY initially considered adapting its internally-developed Division Order system, OXY determined that Quorum Division Order provided a fully functional solution that could be implemented quickly, efficiently and, with significantly less risk.
