Quorum to Present at 2010 American School of Gas Measurement Technology
Get it Right the First Time – Field Data Capture without Paper Forms
Houston – September 21, 2010. Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. (Quorum), a leading provider of business and information technology solutions for the oil, gas, and renewable energy industry, will conduct three educational presentations at the 2010 American School of Gas Measurement Technology (ASGMT), including a lecture course titled Get it Right the First Time – Field Data Capture without Paper Forms. The lecture will discuss the benefits measurement organizations receive from leveraging an electronic field data capture system, from the individual field tech to the overall bottom line.
During the lecture, we will review how field technicians can use electronic field data capture to generate and distribute field data in a manner that reduces the possibilities of error while improving their productivity. Likewise, we will discuss how natural gas measurement organizations are able to improve efficiencies and get more timely access to data by eliminating the duplication of data entry, and automating a number of processes, such as work scheduling, reporting of overdue work, data distribution and data validation.
In addition to the Get it Right the First Time lecture, Quorum will lead two educational demonstrations. The TechTools hands-on class will allow attendees to explore the benefits of Quorum TechTools, a toolkit which provides field technicians with automated workflows for facility inspection and management. Quorum will also offer a session centered on improved communication between the Office and the Field through a PGAS and TechTools interactive demo.
ASGMT is the largest gas measurement school in the U.S. devoted to natural gas measurement, pressure regulation, flow control and other measurement related arenas. The School serves to provide education on a vast number of technical subjects to those involved in the natural gas industry. The 2010 ASGMT will be held September 20-23, 2010 at the Marriott Houston Westchase.
