Third Consecutive Competitive Selection of Quorum Land Software Solution
Houston, Texas - August 31, 2004. Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. (Quorum) has entered into a new licensing agreement with Merit Energy Company (Merit) for Quorum Land and associated software solutions. Merit is a private, Dallas-based firm specializing in direct investments in producing oil and gas properties operating in 14 states with $1.3 Billion in assets. Earlier this year, Merit implemented Quorum TIPS to help manage newly acquired gas plant assets.
Software products licensed to Merit under this agreement include Quorum Land, Quorum GIS, Quorum Web Viewer, and Quorum Query & Reporting. Merit selected the Quorum products after a thorough review of competitive software products. Quorum's integrated document scanning and easy to use Data Loader feature were cited as key differentiators over competing products. An additional factor in Merit's selection of Quorum Land was Quorum's proven ability to interface with SAP.
