Shell Gas Transmission to Deploy Quorum’s New Pipeline Transaction Management Software

Houston, Texas – June 17, 2004.
Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. (Quorum) today announced
that Shell Gas Transmission, LLC has entered into an agreement
to license the Quorum Pipeline Transaction Management system
to replace its legacy pipeline transaction management system.
Shell Gas Transmission is the third company to license Quorum’s
new pipeline transaction management product since its launch
in 2003.
Shell Gas Transmission, LLC and its partners operate a number
of FERC regulated interstate pipelines as well as intrastate
pipelines, capable of transporting almost 9 billion cubic
feet of gas per day from the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
The built-in configurability of Quorum
Pipeline Transaction Management system meets continuously evolving business and
regulatory requirements, and ensures effective long term
support for the system by the supplier. Implementation of
the software has already begun and is scheduled to be complete
in 4th Quarter 2004.
