Targa Resources Selects Quorum Software to Manage Midstream Assets
Houston, Texas – October 26, 2004.
Targa Resources LLC (Targa), an independent midstream energy company, became the twenty-fifth company to license the Quorum TIPS software product to manage its gas plant accounting and allocations needs. Formed in 2003, Targa operates major midstream assets in Texas and Louisiana, including 1,200 miles of pipelines in the Permian Basin and a gathering system covering 2,000 square miles in Louisiana.
In addition to Quorum TIPS, Targa also licensed other Quorum software products, including Quorum Contract Management and Quorum Division Order & Disbursement. Implementation of the products at Targa was completed in Q3 of 2004.
