Quorum PGAS® Flow Measurement - Software Solution

Software that serves as a central repository for all natural gas and NGL volumetric and analytical measurement data, including field meter test automation

PGAS has long been the industry’s leading oil and gas flow measurement software solution. In 2005 Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. assumed responsibility for ongoing sales, support and development of PGAS. Since 2005, Quorum has continued to invest in PGAS with development of several valuable product enhancements. Quorum has continued to support existing PGAS clients and has added numerous additional clients. PGAS is a component of the Quorum Energy Software Suite.
 
Quorum PGAS® Flow Measurement is a software solution that addresses gas and liquids flow measurement. Comprised of two primary elements, as follows:
 

PGAS - enterprise flow measurement software solution

  • Auditable enterprise data management software solution that serves as a central repository for all volume and energy measurement data
  • Auditing and calculation tools to ensure timely processing of raw readings into validated gas and liquid volume and composition information to feed other business systems
  • Ensures data accuracy by validating against user-defined limits and historical data
  • Volume (gas and liquid), mass, energy and component level graphical balancing to assist with identifying lost and unaccounted for gas and liquids (LUAF)
  • Rule-based meter test scheduling and central repository for test results
  • Measurement units - US customary and metric

TechTools® - field measurement facility inspection & management toolkit 

  • Laptop-enabled toolkit to assist field technicians with inspection and management of measurement facilities
  • Provides testing forms for electronic capture of test data
  • Electronically capture and track meter changes
  • Industry standard volume and analysis calculations
  • Calculation and tracking of gas loss (rupture, blowdown, purge, pipeline loading, heater fuel)
  • Available stand-alone or integrated with Quorum PGAS for automated sharing of test data, schedules and meter configurations between field and office

 TechTools
TechTools is a field data capture application that resides on technicians' laptops to electronically schedule
tests and capture test results. TechTools can be deployed stand-alone, but its benefits are increased when
integrated with PGAS. PGAS exports meter / quality configuration and test schedules as well as imports and
stores test results from TechTools.
TechTools also provides troubleshooting such as volume, quality and lost gas calculators.
